Hinduism, Jainism, Buddhism, and Sikhism believe in reincarnation, and how you live your life in the current cycle will determine how you are going to be born in your next life. Think of the possibilities, you could come back as an moth forever bouncing off lightbulbs, a cow destined to be a cheeseburger, in the future perhaps the AI of a droid? Or a cat living in a city filled with robots.

BlueTwelve Studio are in the process of developing a game called Stray, where you control a cat in what seems to be a dystopian world populated by robots with human characteristics. We're not sure how the cat becomes a stray, where it's family is, if human's still exist or how many of it's 9 lives the cat is currently on, but the lonely feline has navigate through dangerous areas that are filled with blood thirsty hunters and solve puzzles in a way only a cat can. Despite the dark looking world, the game promises some light hearted moments to provide a balance in ways only cat owners will appreciate.

Luckily the cat makes a robot drone friend who helps you to communicate with the mechanical inhabitants and guide the cat through harsh enviroments, and you may be thinking "aw poor cat, alone in this world", well here is the good news for animal lovers, the game has combat elements, giving you enhanced abilities to show how bada$$ a cat can be; you can see this on the demo video above.

To be brutally honest, I had zero interest in this game when I heard the synopsis. A cat running around a city solving puzzles is a far cry from the AAA action games I enjoy, but when I saw the demo I was swayed. The game enviroment is stunning, the world feels like a cross between Blade Runner and Fallout. How you interact with objects to feel and understand what it would be like to be in the body of a cat has me thinking the game will bring a new dynamics and perhaps a whole new fanbase. I wouldn't be supprised if this is the begining of something very big which we will be talking about for a long time. Stray is coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC in early 2022. Are you a cat lover who wants to see the world from the point of view of your moggie or will the a$$ licking, furball spewing flea bags keep you away from this Indie?
